Vanessa Pine

Vanessa Pine

Director

Atlas Partners

A former Special Adviser to the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS), Vanessa has more than 14 years’ experience in corporate communications. While in Government, Vanessa oversaw the PR campaign supporting the introduction of shared parental leave, as part of her role advising Minister for Business and Equalities, Jo Swinson. Together, Vanessa and Jo were instrumental in securing cross-government support for the gender pay gap regulations.

Having started her career drafting government policy at the Home Office, Vanessa honed her media skills in public affairs and communications agencies, before taking up senior client-side roles at Carbon Trust and Coca-Cola. In 2015, she founded Atlas Partners to offer the kind of joined up advice on media, politics and reputation that she’d sought as a client herself. With experience in-house, in government and in agency, Vanessa has led corporate, consumer, social media and public affairs campaigns across FMCG, energy, financial services and leisure sectors. She is currently helping several corporate clients prepare to release their own gender pay gap narratives. Vanessa is also a sustainability geek, coffee obsessive and social media enthusiast.
