Jemima leads the Policy and Insight team’s work to understand the causes of gender inequality and generate policy solutions. Her work focuses on money, power and gender norms and stereotypes. Prior to joining Fawcett in summer 2015, Jemima led public policy at an East London borough for five years. In that role she worked on tackling poverty and inequality as well as public service design and reform. Jemima was also a Director at the Fabian Society where she worked on child poverty and welfare policy. She’s particularly interested in the ways our economy excludes and disadvantages women and creating new ways of working that enable more women to participate and be economically independent.
